(NYSE: WMS) announced a decrease in net sales for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025, reporting $615.8 million, down 5.8% from $653.8 million in the previous year. This decline was primarily attributed to lower domestic pipe sales and challenging weather conditions, which impacted demand in the U.S. construction and agriculture markets. Despite the overall decrease, the company’s Infiltrator segment saw a 15.3% increase in sales, underscoring the strength of its most profitable product lines.Comparing the quarter’s performance against expectations, the company reported a diluted net income per share of $0.99, falling short of the anticipated $1.09. Revenue also came in below the expected $658.61 million. The decline in net income, which decreased by 18.2% to $76.8 million, was driven by unfavorable volume, price/mix, and material costs, although these were partially offset by improvements in manufacturing and transportation costs.Despite these challenges, the company maintained its adjusted EBITDA margin at 28.7%, slightly below the previous year’s 29.2%.
