BlockBeats News, January 5th, according to official sources, CME Group released the full-year, fourth-quarter, and December market statistics for 2025. The full-year 2025 data includes:

· The overall daily average trading volume of cryptocurrencies surged by 139% to a record high of 278,000 contracts (nominal value of $12 billion)

· Micro Ether futures' daily average trading volume reached 144,000 contracts, setting an annual record

· Micro Bitcoin futures' daily average trading volume reached 75,000 contracts, setting an annual record

· Ether futures' daily average trading volume reached 19,000 contracts, setting an annual record

In addition, the fourth-quarter data is as follows:

· The overall daily average trading volume reached 379,000 contracts (nominal value of $13.3 billion), setting a quarterly record

· Micro Bitcoin futures' daily average trading volume reached 89,000 contracts, setting a quarterly record

· Micro Ether futures' daily average trading volume soared by 164% compared to the same period last year to 201,000 contracts

· Ether futures' daily average trading volume grew by 137% year-on-year to 22,000 contracts
