Coinbase has selected Abu Dhabi, UAE, as its international tokenization hub, aiming to bring more traditional financial assets onto the blockchain. This move marks a significant advancement for Abu Dhabi in attracting global crypto and fintech companies. Coinbase plans to leverage this hub to promote the tokenization of real-world assets (RWA), utilizing Abu Dhabi's regulatory environment and policy support to expand its presence in the Middle East and international markets. In recent years, Abu Dhabi has continuously improved its digital asset regulatory framework, attracting multiple crypto institutions to establish a presence there.
