CZ Clarifies: Genius is not Aster's competitor, but Perp DEX trading terminal
BlockBeats News, January 14th, Binance founder CZ commented on the discussion regarding the "CZ's new advisory project Genius Trading's relationship with Aster" on social media, stating, "Genius is a trading terminal that connects to a perpetual contract decentralized exchange (Perp DEX) and is not a competitor to Aster."
BlockBeats reported yesterday that YZi Labs has made a "multi-8-figure" level investment in Genius Trading, with CZ joining the project as an advisor. Genius co-founder and CEO Armaan Kalsi revealed that YZi Labs' investment took place last month and was significantly higher than $10 million. He refused to disclose the specific scale and investment structure (equity, tokens, or a hybrid form), and did not respond to whether Genius plans to issue its own token.
