DeepSeek Charges 18% Front-End and 35% Back-End Fees for Financing Intermediary Channel
DeepSeek has set a front-end fee of 18% and a back-end fee of 35% for part of its investment shares through an intermediary channel. Investors contributing 100 million yuan must pay 18 million yuan as a front-end fee, and future earnings will also be subject to a 35% share. Even with these high fees, investors cannot guarantee that they will ultimately receive shares. DeepSeek conducts thorough identity verification of the investors participating in the financing and the limited partners behind the funds. The related investments have a five-year lock-up period during which transfers are not allowed. Except for the National Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund, most external investors do not have voting rights and do not hold board seats, sharing financial returns only according to their contribution ratio. There have been instances of false shares and intermediary chaos surrounding DeepSeek's financing in the market, with some institutions claiming to hold large investment shares but not appearing on the investment list. Some investors have paid 5 million yuan as a meeting fee in an attempt to contact Liang Wenfeng but have been unsuccessful.

Bitcoin Back Above $81K, Payrolls in Focus | WEEX TradFi Daily(Sept. 4, 2026)
Today’s market narrative was shaped by a recovery in crypto risk appetite and a deeper extension of the AI investment theme. Bitcoin moved back above $81,000 as macro pressure eased at the margin, while NVIDIA’s acquisition of Hugging Face underscored the strategic shift from compute dominance toward control of model ecosystems and developer access points. At the same time, results from Snowflake and Ciena reinforced that AI spending is spreading from semiconductors into software and network infrastructure. Near term, the August U.S. payrolls release is likely to be the key catalyst for rates expectations and valuation direction across growth assets.
