BlockBeats News, August 13th, GameSquare Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: GAME) today announced a new strategic partnership with the Animecoin Foundation. The Animecoin Foundation is a non-commercial foundation that supports the Animecoin ecosystem. This collaboration will strengthen GameSquare's presence in the Web3 space, adding high-potential digital assets to the company's balance sheet and positioning the company in the rapidly growing global market.


In partnership with the Animecoin Foundation and its early contributors, including Azuki (a Los Angeles-based anime company operating Anime.com and developing original IP), GameSquare will purchase up to $2.5 million worth of Animecoin on the open market, expanding its crypto-native treasury with another culturally significant and highly promising digital asset.

Under the terms of the one-year agreement, GameSquare will become the official agent of the Animecoin Foundation and will receive $2.5 million worth of Animecoin for providing creative and agency services. GameSquare will support the Animecoin Foundation in expanding its influence and solidifying its position among the global community of gaming enthusiasts.
