Gopax Appoints Kim Na-young as New CEO

Gopax, a cryptocurrency exchange, announced on the 27th that it has appointed Kim Na-young, who previously led the financial business development division at Amazon Web Services (AWS) Korea, as its new CEO. With this appointment, Gopax aims to accelerate the resolution of the 'GoFi' repayment issues and strengthen communication with financial authorities to expedite its management normalization efforts. The new CEO, Kim Na-young, holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), possessing expertise in financial regulation and financial IT. During his tenure at AWS Korea, he supported blockchain and AI-based digital transformation projects, demonstrating a high understanding of the financial and financial IT regulatory environment. A Gopax representative stated that Kim is considered the optimal person to bridge traditional finance and IT technology. Kim has declared that prioritizing the repayment of GoFi funds and normalizing management will be his top tasks, focusing on resolving customers' repayment issues.
