Kaito Pulse Plugin Accused of Deep Data Collection Practices
The Kaito Pulse plugin uses hash calculations to fingerprint users' GPU rendering, hardware models, and hardware test sounds, binding this unique combination to the user's X account. The plugin can capture users' complete browsing history, feed stream hover times, clicks, and follow statuses, sending heartbeat packets with active detection every 30 seconds. Additionally, Kaito Pulse can read the subscription plans and consumption ratios of Claude and ChatGPT, automatically clicking into the Usage page of ChatGPT and accessing the Positions tab on Binance to resend logged-in requests to read wallet balances, futures positions, profit and loss, and deposit and withdrawal history. Kaito AI launched Kaito Pulse on August 18, aiming to bring off-platform activities directly into the native X timeline.
