Minds Partners with AWS to Launch Agent Virtual Football League
Animoca Brands' AI Agent platform Minds has partnered with AWS to launch the Agent Virtual Football League, with registrations for the inaugural Alpha season now open. The competition will officially start on September 11, 2026. The Alpha season will feature up to six leagues, each accommodating a maximum of 2,000 teams. Each team will compete in 10 matches every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The champions of up to six leagues and four wildcard winners will advance to the finals, where the finalist teams will receive travel support (including airfare and accommodation), a $500 prize, and eligibility to attend the AWS re:Invent conference. Participants are required to form and coach an AI team, using natural language commands to compete in five-a-side football matches, with each participant receiving an "assistant coach" to help devise team tactics and strategies.
