Most Popular Used Cars in Ukraine in 2026

In the first half of 2026, Ukrainians purchased 26,300 used passenger cars imported from abroad, all under five years old. Nearly half of this segment consisted of electric vehicles and hybrids, with the most popular model being the 'Nissan Rogue' at 1,380 units, slightly ahead of the 'Tesla Model Y' with 1,373 units. In total, 111,500 imported used cars were added to Ukraine's vehicle fleet in the first half of the year, of which cars under five years old accounted for 24%. Gasoline models maintained the largest share among relatively new used cars at 50%, while electric vehicles and hybrids together made up 43%. The distribution of cars by powertrain type was as follows: gasoline - 50%, electric - 25%, hybrid - 18%, diesel - 6%, and cars with gas equipment - 1%. The top 10 most imported used cars under five years old also included: 'Mazda CX-5' (1,169), 'Volkswagen Tiguan' (1,152), 'Tesla Model 3' (883), 'Ford Escape' (806), 'Audi Q5' (731), 'Kia Niro' (521), 'Jeep Compass' (495), and 'BMW X5' (467). In May, Ukrainians purchased nearly 4,600 imported used passenger cars under five years old.
