NVIDIA Earnings Preview: Market Focus on Capital Deployment and Profit Growth

Investors are keenly watching NVIDIA's earnings report for details on capital deployment and spending plans that exceed expectations. Franklin Templeton portfolio manager Sara Alagi noted that NVIDIA's expected price-to-earnings ratio for the next 12 months is around 21 times, with the market already pricing in expectations of slower growth. NVIDIA needs to demonstrate profit growth to prove that its free cash flow can be used for investments and stock buybacks.
