Dr. Carlos Leung, Executive Director of the Investment Products Division of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission and Chairman of the Digital Asset Steering Group, stated that striking a balance between innovation and investor protection is crucial. The Commission is committed to promoting the establishment of a thriving and sustainable digital asset market in Hong Kong, ensuring that regulatory policies are practical, effective, and appropriate.
