SlowMist Team: The Theft of 402bridge May Involve Insider Actions, 402bridge.fun Domain Registered Only Two Days Ago Has Ceased Services
BlockBeats News, October 28th, SlowMist founder Cosmos YU posted on social media stating that the ownership of the 402bridge contract had been modified, seemingly due to a key theft, but not ruling out an insider job (this statement does not imply collective wrongdoing by the project team, as it is not a typical rug pull). Just two days after its registration, 402bridge.fun has already ceased operation. Subsequently, the "hacker" proceeded to bulk steal all the USDC authorized to this bridge contract's users. This is the first publicly known theft case related to the 402 protocol's services.
