South Korea Plans Regulatory Measures for Single Stock Leveraged ETFs

South Korea's financial regulatory authorities will announce measures regarding single stock leveraged ETFs to address market controversies and maintain market stability. The Financial Services Commission (FSC) is in discussions with the Ministry of Finance, the Bank of Korea, and the Financial Supervisory Service to determine specific measures. The FSC chairman stated that the regulatory body is conducting a comprehensive assessment of whether to suspend trading of related ETFs, as this could lead to additional side effects.
