Symbiosis was attacked on September 11 due to a vulnerability in the Bitcoin Bridge, and has currently recovered approximately 15 BTC, which has been transferred to a multi-signature wallet. The BTC cross-chain routes have been suspended, while other routes and components are operating normally. Symbiosis has proposed a white hat bounty to the attackers, offering 20% of the returned funds, valid until September 13; after that, those providing leads will also receive a 20% reward. The final amount of losses is still being calculated and will be announced in future updates. The team is contacting affected liquidity providers and developing a compensation framework. The relayer group is operating normally to ensure network security, and thanks to the assistance of security researchers, further progress updates will be released.
