The Number of Holders of Tokenized Assets Reaches 3.67 Million
The number of holders of real-world assets (RWA) that are tokenized has reached a record of 3.67 million. Tokenized stocks account for over 80% of the tokenized assets owned by users. Approximately 2.96 million holders have been registered in the tokenized stock market. Tokenized commodities rank second with about 332,000 holders. U.S. Treasury bonds have only around 73,000 holders. Currently, there are 5,246 tokenized stock assets valued at $2.89 billion, which has increased by 14.03% in the past 30 days. The total value of tokenized assets has reached $386.92 billion, reflecting a growth of 3.63% compared to the previous month. However, the value of assets that can be directly transferred between wallets has only increased by 1.54%, reaching $39.15 billion. The number of holders of tokenized stocks has increased by 159.31% over the past 30 days, but the monthly transfer volume has dropped by 50.96% to $13.14 billion. The number of active monthly addresses has also decreased by 48.36%, reaching 760,339 addresses. The trading volume of perpetual contracts related to real-world assets in August decreased by 13.5% to $122 billion. Ondo leads the platforms with $860 million.
