Social platform X has announced the launch of a new content disclosure feature, introducing the "Paid Partnership" tag to enhance platform transparency.

According to the official statement, creators can now clearly indicate whether their organic content is paid for or incentivized by a third party when posting, without needing to add terms like "ad" or "sponsored" in the body text.

X Creators stated that the platform is committed to being a reflection of the "real pulse of humanity," with transparency as one of its core principles. Undisclosed promotional content can erode users' trust in their timelines. A clear labeling mechanism helps strengthen the platform's credibility and protects the integrity of the "global public square."

This feature is currently available on iOS and the web, with the Android version expected to launch the following day. The platform has also updated its "Paid Partnership Policy" to clarify the relevant disclosure standards.
