SK Hynix Responds to Unresolved Sale of Chongqing Factory Shares
SK Hynix has responded to reports regarding the sale of a partial stake in its packaging plant in Chongqing, China, with the transaction valued at approximately 40 trillion won (about 29 billion USD). The company stated that it is exploring measures to enhance the competitiveness of its packaging business, but no specific details have been determined yet. This response is a follow-up disclosure within a month of the initial announcement made on August 10. The company indicated that any confirmed matters will be announced separately, and if there are no specific developments, it will provide another update within three months after the announcement, with the next disclosure expected on December 8.
